The Fenway Women's Dinner Party 2002

Remembering others, selfless service, care and compassion was the focus of the 11th Annual Fenway Dinner Party, April 27, at the Westin Copley Place Hotel. The event is a benefit for the Women’s Care Fund of Fenway Community Health.

Every year since 1992, Fenway has bestowed the Dr. Susan M. Love Award to honor an individual or group whose contribution to the advancement of women’s health issues has been exceptional and deserving of community recognition. This year’s recipients, Byllye Avery and Ngina Lythcott have inspired lesbian health activists, health care providers and researchers across the country.

In addition to the awards presentation, the night featured a dream date auction, silent auction and the comedy of Suzanne Westenhoefer. The fun and festivities were a celebration of those individuals who strive to make our community better and the success of the Fenway Clinic.
