Dump Cake
Heres an easy desert
you can put together in just
a few minutes!

You will need
13x9" Square Pan
1 PKg. Yellow Cake Mix
1 can crushed pineapples
1 -8 oz. pkg. coconut flakes
1/2 C melted butter Spread crushed pineapple (drained into Square Pan. Sprinkle
coconut flakes on top of pineapple. Pat
down cake mix. Pour melted butter over batter. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
After cake cooks, cut and turn over to serve. (like upside down cake) Enjoy!

Warm Artichoke Dip

Here is a quick and easy dip for your Labor Day or any other day.
1 c mayonnaise
1 c Parmesean grated cheese
4-6 oz. jars marinated artichoke hearts
In a blender, combine mayo, cheese and drained artichokes. Spoon
mixture into a baking dish. Sprinkle top with some Parmesean Cheese. Bake
until lightly brown. (30 min.-350)
Serve warm with pita chips, or any other crachers or bread. Makes
about 2 c of dip


Easy as Pie
1-extra lg. graham cracker crust
2-small pkg. jello (any flavor)
2-8oz. container of yogurt (same flavor as jello)
whipping cream
In a bowl mix 2 pks.. jello with 2 cups hot water
Instead of adding 2 cold cups water-add 2 containers of yogurt and mix into jello mix.
Pour into graham cracker crust and refrigerate.
Garnish with whipped cream

Corn Muffins
with Jelley

1 or 2 pkg. corn muffin mix (depending on how many muffins you want to make)
Follow directions on package
After you pour mix into muffin times, take 1 tbl. of your favorite jelley, spoon into middle of muffin mix.

Penne Pizzaiola

2 tbl. virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic (cut in slices)
1 can (28oz.) peeled Italian style tomatoes with juice
16 cured black olives ( calamata--pitted & cut up)
2 tbl. small capers
salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 box (16oz.) Penne
2 tbl. chopped fresh flat leaf parsley
serves 4
Combine olive oil and garlic in a large skillet, cook over low heat just until the garlic begins to sizzle, add tomatoes
Cook, stirring occasionally over med. heat until the tomatoes thicken (about 15 mins.)
Add olives and capers. Add salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Cook pasta in plenty of boiling water until firm ( about 10 mins.) Drain
Combine pasta with tomato sauce. Top with cheese and parsley.


No-Bake Banana Split Cake

2 c. Crushed vanilla wafers
1 stick margarine
1 can crushed pineapple
1 9oz. Container Cool Whip
1 can pecans (chopped)
4 bananas
1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
1 small jar maraschino cherries

Combine wafers and melted margarine. Press in to the bottom of 9 x 13 dish. Slice bananas and spread on top of crumbs. Mix condensed milk and lemon juice. Pour on top of bananas. Drain crushed pineapple and spread on top. Pour whole container of Cool Whip on top. Sprinkle with pecans and cherries. Refrigerate overnight. Delicious.
